Night programs

Dangaus objektų stebėjimai pro teleskopus – puiki patirtis norint pažinti naktinį dangų. Kviečiame į naktinę ekskursiją, kuri užburia. Ne nuotraukose, ne internete esančiuose vaizdiniuose, ne kompiuterio monitoriuje, o pro realų optinį teleskopą galėsite stebėti žvaigždes, žvaigždžių spiečius, planetas, galaktikas, mėnulį. Naktinės ekskursijos prie teleskopų prasideda 1,5 val. po Saulės nusileidimo.

Norint pamatyti naktinio dangaus objektus reikalinga visiška giedra. Tad kai užsiregistruosite į naktinę ekskursiją, ekskursijos dieną, apie 13-14 val., po naujausių orų prognozių gausite patvirtinimą, kad naktinė ekskursiją įvyks arba, kad ekskursija atšaukiama dėl netinkamų oro sąlygų. Atvykdami į naktines ekskursijas – turėkite omenyje, kad teleskopo bokšte temperatūra tokia pati kaip ir lauke – pasiimkite šiltesnių drabužių. Naktinių ekskursijų trukmė – 1 – 1,5 val.

At the 80 cm Telescope: Night Sky Observations

Night-time observations are among the most atmospheric and memorable experiences at the Lithuanian Museum of Ethnocosmology. Although clear skies are relatively rare, those nights when we can gaze into the depths of space with our own eyes are truly special. It is important to note that the night sky is constantly changing; therefore, objects seen by your acquaintances or by us may not necessarily be visible on the night you choose. Observations through the museum’s 80 cm and 40 cm telescopes vary continuously, reflecting the celestial objects visible in that season and depending precisely on the hour of observation. Even so, the experience always leaves a lasting impression—or at least vivid memories of the moving observatory dome and a remarkable instrument for exploring the sky. The programme may be delivered in English upon request; however, availability cannot be guaranteed.

Nighttime observations are one of the most mystical activities at the Museum of Lithuanian Ethnocosmology.Despite the rarely clearing sky, those nights when we can gaze with our own eyes into the depths of space are truly special. Regarding observations, it should be noted that the sky is constantly changing, so whatwe or your acquaintances have seen will not necessarily be visible during your chosen night.Nighttime observations through the museum’s 80 cm and 40 cm telescopes are constantly changing,reflecting the celestial objects visible during that time of year, precisely dependent on the observationhour. Nevertheless, they always leave a pleasant impression or at least memories ofthe moving museum dome and the previously unseen instrument for observing the sky.
