During the daytime program (tour), visitors ascend through the museum’s underground gallery. Seven distinct spaces present various connections between humans and humanity and the Cosmic World: ancient ethnic ties, world measurements, calendars, astronomy, cosmonautics, the search for extraterrestrial life, and the future possibilities of our civilization. The museum’s exhibition is constantly updated or changed, so our tour guides will help you better experience the uniqueness of the Ethnocosmology Museum and the diversity of its connections with the Cosmic World.
During the tour, you will not only get acquainted with unique exhibits – copies of the first Lithuanian satellites LituanicaSat-1 and LitSat-1, an exceptional meteorite, or traditional Lithuanian household items – but also have the opportunity to learn about astronomical research, space news, and Lithuanian achievements in space.
The exhibition is arranged in seven separate halls, each revealing the aforementioned themes. The narrative is coherent, engaging, and provides not only superficial knowledge but also a deeper understanding of celestial objects and their significance.
The tour also includes an ascent to the observation deck, located 32 meters high, which offers a panoramic view of the Labanoras Regional Park.
